Ready Respectful Safe
‘To be the best version of ourselves, enjoying life in all its fullness’

Our School Identity
The Trust is inspired by the Church of England’s Vision for Education and it focuses this inspiration, across the Trust, through John 10:10,
‘That they may have life: life in all its fullness’
Our School’s vision is ‘To be the best version of ourselves, enjoying life in all its fullness’. This vision underpins everything that our school community does. It shapes our school strategy and day to day practice. We do this through Life-Long Learning, Community and Friendship; the development of this for all learners, sits at the core of our school. We are committed to all children experiencing ‘Life in all its fullness’ John 10:10.
Our Values
Our school values — Respect, Compassion, Responsibility, Courage, Perseverance and Hope — are rooted in our Christian vision and the teachings of Jesus. We chose these values because they reflect the qualities we want every child to develop as they grow and flourish.
- Respect reminds us that everyone is made in God’s image and deserves dignity.
- Compassion encourages us to show kindness and care for those in need.
- Responsibility teaches us to make good choices and care for our world.
- Courage helps us to stand up for what is right and try new things.
- Perseverance supports us to keep going when learning is challenging.
- Hope inspires us to look forward with confidence and optimism.
Together, these values shape our daily life, guide our relationships and support every member of our community to flourish. Our Christian Values are at the heart of everything we do in Kingshill Church School.
Through our vision and values, we have our positive behaviour and relationships policy:
Ready, Respectful and Safe
Spirituality
At Kingshill Church School, spirituality is at the heart of our school life. As a small, nurturing community, we create a safe and supportive space where every child is known and valued, enabling them to explore and develop their own sense of meaning and purpose.
We encourage pupils to reflect on the ‘big questions’ in life—such as Who am I? Why am I here? What is right and wrong?—through collective worship, our curriculum and everyday conversations. Children are given regular opportunities for stillness, reflection and discussion, helping them to think deeply about themselves, their relationships, the wider world and, for many, their faith.
Our approach to spirituality supports pupils to develop awe and wonder, curiosity and respect for different beliefs. It enables them to grow in confidence, empathy and understanding, equipping them to flourish both within our school and beyond.

This is Our School
Let Peace dwell here
Let the rooms be full of contentment
Let Love abide here
Love of one another
Love of mankind
Love of life itself
And love of God.
Let us Remember
That, as many hands make a house,
So many hearts make a school.
Amen
Call and response
We come to be still.
We open our hearts.
Go in the light and help us to share (the this term’s value) with the world.
