Kingshill School Council
At Kingshill Church School the children are passionate about having a voice and positively impacting change in many areas of life and their learning. ‘Courageous advocacy’ is important to the children in Kingshill Church School.
All of the children were invited to apply to represent their class on the school council and the children were then invited to an interview and successful children were offered the role of school council member through personalised offer letters.
The school council meet once a half term. However, between our meetings the children are working with their classes to put initiatives into action.
Our school council are also ‘in training’ to support visitors to our school with their first visit and a tour of the site.
The school council are also supporting their classes to redevelop the use of community groups in school.
